And I've learned that the organizations that struggle most aren't lacking effort or talent. They're lacking clarity around how the work actually gets done.
I'm Jennie Vader, an operations specialist based in Missoula, Montana.
I bring 15 years of organizational leadership and operations experience to this work. I've served as an Executive Director, Operations Manager, and President of DreamStart Labs, working across nonprofits, startups, and small businesses. I hold a Master's degree in Nonprofit Management, and credentials including Salesforce Certified Administrator, Certified Scrum Master, and a Professional Certificate in Impact Investing and Social Enterprise.
I've led organizations through growth, change, and the kind of operational complexity that doesn't show up in a job description. I know what it feels like to be inside a structure that hasn't kept up with where an organization needs to go, and I know what it takes to change that.
How I work.
I don't come in with a predetermined answer. I come in to understand what you've built, what's creating friction, and where you'll get the most relief. Then we figure out the right place to focus together.
My work generally falls into three areas: processes and systems, roles and responsibilities, and communication. Sometimes the challenge lives in one of these. Often it's a combination. Part of what I do is help you figure out where to start so the changes actually hold.
I work with your tools, your team, and your existing structure. I'm not here to build something from scratch. I'm here to help what you've already built work the way you always intended it to.
I stay until it does.
